On the night of 15 October 2018, our region was badly flooded. Over a three period an enourmous amount of rain fell which caused a number of rivers to flood. At Trebe, the river level rose by 7 metres (21 feet), causing an unbelievable amount of damage.
At The Old Tannery, our little river (the Dure) rose by three metres and wiped out the garden, completely obliterating the two beehives (poor bees) and removing the four of the heavy wood pallets that made up the garden pavilion. It also created a large hole close to where an old tree used to stand.
